The Bahar Silk Shirt reimagines that familiar rhythm through reflection. Instead of dyed dots, small mirrors are arranged across deep emerald silk in Bandhani-inspired formations. Each one responds to its surroundings—holding light, releasing it and changing with every movement of the wearer.
At the centre, a sculptural flower is constructed entirely through hand beadwork. Its layered petals rise from the silk with depth and texture, as though spring has opened directly from the cloth. The silhouette is designed around this flower rather than placing it onto a conventional shirt. Its front panels and hem follow the movement of the stem, allowing the artwork to determine the shape of the garment.
This is not an imitation of Bandhani. It is a conversation with its visual language. What was once created by resisting dye is now formed by holding light. What appears spontaneous has been placed with precision. What looks like spring carries hours of human hands.
FABRIC : Fine Silk Fabric—a smooth, fluid silk with a rich emerald tone and a natural lustre that shifts gently under light. Soft enough to move with the body, yet substantial enough to support the intricate mirror and beadwork.
ARTWORK & DETAILS : Small mirrors are individually placed across the silk in formations inspired by the dotted rhythm of Bandhani. At the centre, a large flower is created by hand using detailed beadwork, layered textures and contrasting colour. The embellishment is not added as an afterthought; the entire shirt is constructed around it.
SHAPE : Designed with an unconventional, sculptural shape rather than the straight construction of a regular shirt. The front panels follow the movement of the central flower and its stem, creating a distinctive opening and hemline. Finished with long sleeves, a relaxed open collar and a fluid waist-length silhouette.
FIT : Relaxed and slightly oversized, with a soft drape through the body and sleeves. The shirt is designed to fall naturally rather than sit rigidly against the frame. Size up for a more exaggerated, fluid fit.

Your shirt will require approximately 3-15 days for production and dispatch, followed by the applicable delivery time for your location. CARE INSTRUCTIONS : Professional dry cleaning only. Do not wash, wring or iron directly over the mirrors or hand beadwork. Store the shirt carefully without placing heavy garments over the embellished flower, and keep it away from sharp objects and rough surfaces.
EXCHANGE & RETURN : We offer a free exchange within 30 days of delivery in case of sizing issues or damage. We do not accept returns because every garment is created specifically for its wearer. When a made-to-order piece is returned or left unaccepted, it risks becoming waste—and that is something we do not wish to promote.
